आज हमारे शहर के बंदर शायद कुछ हद तक वैसा ही महसूस कर रहे होंगे जैसे जब यह लखीमपुर खीरी शहर नहीं एक छोटा सा कस्बा रहा होगा. मैं जब इस शहर की आज विरान सड़कों पर निकाला तो वैसे सन्नाटा नज़र आया जैसे की 1980 के मध्य में शाम को हमारे शहर की सिविल लाइन रोड कही जाने वाली सड़क पर सात आठ बजते हो जाया करता था. उस दौर मे चंद कारें, साइकिलें ज्यादा और स्कूटर कम नज़र आते थे और हरे भरे विशाल दरख़्तों मे बंदर जैसे समाजिक प्राणी ही का पूर्ण वर्चस्व था. अक्सर बंदरों का जमावड़ा हमरे घरों के किचन तक पहुंच जाता था मगर तब शहर में बिजली के तार का विस्तार इतना नहीं था की वो उसमें दिनभर लटकते नज़र आए जैसे आजकल तारों पर लटकते हुए अपनी जान को ख़तरों में डालकर सड़क के उपर से पार करते है क्योंकि नीचे तो उनके प्राचीन इलाक़ों पर इंसानों की भीड़भाड़ और वाहनों के जाम ही होते हैं. मगर पिछले कुछ दिनों से अचानक बंदरों की बिन मुराद पूरी हो गई हो वो अब सड़कों पर उतर पार कर रह है यह नज़ारा मुझे ख़ुद अचरज भरा लगा मगर इस ख़ुशी की बात के बीच पापी पेट का सवाल भी खड़ा हो गया है, जहां कल तक इंसानों के शहर में तला भुना कच्चा पक्का ...

जंगल के किस्से और उन किस्सों को सुनाने वाले का वह अंदाज जो हमारे ज़हन में रोमांच और भय का एक मिश्रण भर देता है कि हम जब कभी जंगल के बीच गुज़रते हुए मन बाघ को एक नजर देख लेने की आस में उत्सुक नज़र आ रह होता है, अरे कहीं एक बार बस बाघ नज़र आ जाये तभी बस शांति की अपील सुनाई देती है और जंगल के बीचों-बीच हमें कुछ चीतल नज़र आ जाते है बिल्कुल चौकन्ने क्योंकि जानवर हो या पक्षियों का झुंड उनमे अगर तीन खा रहे होते हैं तो दो चौकीदारी कर रहे होते है क्योंकि उनको भी क़ुदरत ने यह पाठ पढ़ा रखा है सचेत रहो कहीं कोई तुम्हारी घात में न हो और ज़रा सी लापरवाही जानलेवा साबित हो सकती है | जब छात्र परीक्षा कक्ष में मास्टर साहब की नज़रों से बचकर नक़ल करने का प्रयास में होता है तो वो भी अपने भाव से डर को छिपाने की कोशिश ज़रूर कर रहा होता है मगर अक्सर पकड़ जाता है क्योंकि उसका व्यवहार उसके डर को उजागर कर देता है. जंगल में चलिए लौटते हैं एक सांकेतिक आवाज़ हमारे महावत ने दूसरे महावत से सुनी ओर तभी हमारा हाथी दो क़दम बड़कर रूक गया तब माजरा समझ में आया की बाघ की क़रीब में होने का एहसास हाथी को भी हो चुका था और वह आ...

" मेरा मानना है कि यदि कोई हमेशा आकाश की तरफ देखे तो उसके पर निकल आयेंगे" जोयस किल्मर का यह विचार कुछेक को ग़लत लग सकता है मगर आज का इंसान अपने क्रम विकास को भूल चुका है जो वक्त के साथ बदलता गया और वक्त भी उसको बदलता चला गया और उसने एक अदिम इंसान को अधुनिक इंसान बना दिया.... फिर उसने एक डर नामक चीज़ को मन में भर लिया जैस कहीं मौत उसको न दबोच ले आके मगर वह चाहे तहख़ाने के किसी कोठरी मे छिप जाये वह उस तक वहाँ भी पहुँच जायेगी और किसी हाल मे नहीं छोडेगी.......... तो फिर वही आख़िर डर किस बात का जब्कि कहा गया है जाको राखे साईयाँ मार सकें न कोई, जो जग बैरी हो बाल बाँका कर सके न कोई” मगर आज इंसान इंसान से दूरी बनाए रह रहा है कहीं अगला शिकार वही न हो जाये क्योंकि वह आज अपनों के बीच भी अपनो का भरोसा नहीँ कर पा रहा है... केवल, गीता, बाईबिल, क़ुरआन पढ़ने से कुछ नहीं होने वाला जबतक उस ख़ुदा पर ईमान को पक्का नहीं करते वही रोज़ तुम्हारे पेट भरने के ज़रिए पैदा करता है और वही तुम्हारी जान ले लेगा बेसबब.....  कतई नहीँ आज वही इंसान डरा हुआ है जिसने इश्वर के साथ भी छल किया है उलको पता है वो गुनाह क...

Wildlife inside my house was always pleasurable indeed but their sudden appearance sometimes more horrible than our imagination . In the late eighties and ninety when I with my parents and elder brother lived in the heart of the Lakhimpur city at well wooded forest colony's quarter number six . My father was an employee of the forest department so it benefited to me very much . As the monsoon approached and the heavy downpour had began at that time , the most Scarry moment awaited us to  prepared to welcomed the wild guest inside our rooms and lawns . Medium size Tortoise sometimes viewed by us inside the open lawn of our house and as due to curiosity when I touched it then it insert its head and limbs into their shell . And the black Scorpions were not the guest but the host of our house and I remembered we daily encountered them and never get injected by it . However the red ants many times felt us the pain by its sting and it was very painful experience for me and my family too ...

India and its diverse wildlife attracts to many of us because three big cats roam here freely into the reserve areas of the national parks . Tigers , Leopards and Asiatic Lions are the only big cats found in India as cheetahs are now extinct due to massive hunting . Tigers and Leopards found all over India but the Lions are confined to the Gir National Park in the Gujarat state . Their attacks on humans are very low almost rare but on the other side Tigers get the second position on human attacks and the Leopards achieved first stage on human attacks . Leopards have an excellent skill to climb on trees and as the prey comes to nearby him they jump on it to kill . Tiger first seeks place to hide before ready for the charge on its prey . Lions encircles to its prey and attacked on it . All have different strategies but they have one advantage which is the same and that is their capability to kill prey in the darkness of night . The souls of the wild wanders across the globe in search of their prey and partner . There are many fantasy legends narrated by our ancestors and believed as it was real and actually happened . But the lack of knowledge and Ignorance this inheritance of tales get famous among us . As many peoples presumed that the sky lark bird in India called Chakor circles the moon at night . But in fact there is no obvious cause to do this type of activities . Our poets made this concept of moon and sky lark association in their literatures .   The another bird is Hawk Cuckoo which begins their frantic call only during their breeding season as same the peacock dance . Both birds associated with the rainfall by our poets and its totally wrong because these birds sing , calls and dance only to attract their mate so that they rear their family .
