Myths of Wildlife 🐈

The souls of the wild wanders across the globe in search of their prey and partner . There are many fantasy legends narrated by our ancestors and believed as it was real and actually happened . But the lack of knowledge and Ignorance this inheritance of tales get famous among us . As many peoples presumed that the sky lark bird in India called Chakor circles the moon at night . But in fact there is no obvious cause to do this type of activities . Our poets made this concept of moon and sky lark association in their literatures .   The another bird is Hawk Cuckoo which begins their frantic call only during their breeding season as same the peacock dance . Both birds associated with the rainfall by our poets and its totally wrong because these birds sing , calls and dance only to attract their mate so that they rear their family . When Peahens not show interest in the dance of peacock then it paused it and people said that when peacock looks below its ugly pairs of legs then it get disappointed and stop dancing . It is also wrong concept prepared by our ancestors . Now talks about Cat and dog crying at night . It is believe that their crying call means anyone die nearby . Dogs live in packs and cats live solitary and their calls is the natural way to communicate with each other . Although females cats crying in worried when their offsprings get out of sight and she saw the male near its area . Because males Cat have a tendency to kill its kids so that the mating process resumed . And on the other side pack of dogs in their restricted area very conscious and aggressive against the intruders . To attacked on the intruder dog they calls differently and get ready for the defense its occupied area . This concept of dog cat crying is fully false .  The revenge of cobra is also the bigger superstition . Snakes are actually completely deaf and they only believe on the warm catching censor available at its tongue which it always insert in and out . It is also very conscious against movement of any object in front of it as when the snake charmer play its flute and shaking it the snake begins to react . Our movies produced this believe that if anyone killed one of its pair it will search the killer to accomplished its revenge . How can  anyone claimed that the same victim snake killed him , it may just coincidence that after this incident they get killed by the same species snake . It is more chance that the people lives where this type snake in plenty . Human life and death regulated by the destiny not by these superstition concepts . ✔ 🐾 © Uruj Shahid

The journey of Meter gauge train used to be a world in itself. From late 80s to mid 90s when I had traveled the trains were operated with steam locomotive, then later from 1995 the train was began to operated with Ydm4 diesel locomotive  .Then two to three pairs of passenger trains and three pairs of express trains would pass through our lakhimpur railway staition which came from Bareilly, Palia and Mailani junction and reached Lucknow via Sitapur. I usually used to travel from Lakhimpur to Lucknow and return from Lucknow to Lakhimpur and it took about four hours to complete this journey as trains were often crossed due to single meter gauge railway line, which made trains had to stay at the station lying between this route .  If you are told that the dog living at the turn of your path is fierce, then whenever you pass through that turn, fear will arise itself even if that dog does not do anything to you . In the late 80s, when I was ten years old, the birds I saw around my house I was always be curious to see them and that's how I became fond of it and established myself as a birdwatcher .   The area where I had spent my childhood was filled with a lot of species of birds and probably because of the greenery of the trees, the birds loved this area very much .  It was my pleasure to be so close to the birds but at that time it was a challenge for me to identify birds by name . But wherever there is a will, there is a way and it happened that as my hobby grew, things got easier , I remember how I got some books on birds from a library in the city and I started identifying some common birds by name.
