Love Making in Birds 🐦🐣

After the very harsh winter season, as soon as there is a feeling of mild warmth in the air, as if a wave of happiness runs in the nature and not only does the weather change, but there is a change in the gesture, color and voice of the birds . This can be called the beginning of the breeding period of birds and in this, where the male bird has sweetness in voice, swiftness and brightness of colors and at the same time, the female bird has an unprecedented ability to see and hear better to assess the performance of the male . Scientists believe that all this motivates birds because of hormonal changes within their body, so that they start their love . Whatever the reason, this change fills the birds with excitement and where the male bird first starts to choose the place where it gets its proper place to build the nest and the availability of food should also be in the right amount and as soon as  the male bird gets such a place, he sings a loud voice song by sitting on that area to claim his territory so that the other male bird can become far away from the chosen area . Many male birds start making nest when the area is fixed, or they start making nest after being select by female birds . 
Male birds showoff their very beautiful colored feathers by dancing to woo the female bird or some male birds sing on the strength of their sweet voice and this process is called courtship display . Male birds usually perform their dance on a tree branch or a string or boundary walls and for singing, the male bird sits in a high post in the open space and sings with a melodious voice so that the female bird can be wooed . In this, the female bird selects the male bird as its mate only after first assessing the male bird's performance of dance and voice and then the male bird mates the female bird so that their offspring can grow further . The start of all this breeding process usually occurs at the end of winter and the beginning of the hot season and many birds start this breeding process at different times . Then the female bird lays two to four eggs in the nest and incubates it until the chicks come out of the eggs and then both the male and female birds feed their babies alternately .
But the thing to note is that birds usually live in pairs only during breeding time and then separate after the breeding period, the sound of the male bird slows down, it stops singing and the brightness of the feathers of the male bird also decreases . In nature, every living being gets certain things according to the need for a certain time and then it is taken back so that their safety can be ensured .

In the late 80s, when I was ten years old, the birds I saw around my house I was always be curious to see them and that's how I became fond of it and established myself as a birdwatcher .   The area where I had spent my childhood was filled with a lot of species of birds and probably because of the greenery of the trees, the birds loved this area very much .  It was my pleasure to be so close to the birds but at that time it was a challenge for me to identify birds by name . But wherever there is a will, there is a way and it happened that as my hobby grew, things got easier , I remember how I got some books on birds from a library in the city and I started identifying some common birds by name.
